Khushi and Aarav OS ~~ Meri Maa

Khushi and Aarav OS ~~ Meri Maa

Background: Based on Aarav's and Khushi's insecurities after the Sheetal fiasco.
***********************************************************************************************
Meri Maa....
"Main Kabhi Batlata Nahin
Par Andhere Se Darta Hoon Main Maa
Yun To Main, Dikhlata Nahin
Teri Parwaah Karta Hoon Main Maa
Tujhe Sab Hain Pata, Hain Na Maa
Tujhe Sab Hain Pata, Meri Maa..."
{"I never tell,
But I'm afraid of the dark, oh mother
I don't show it,
But I care for you, oh mother
You know it all, don't you, mother?
You know it all my mother..."}
************************************************************************************
"Arnavji, Aarav kya hume pasand nahin Kartein? Hum kya usse tang kartein hain?"
{"Arnavji, does Aarav not like me? Do I annoy him?"}
Khushi asked, resting her head on her possessive husband's muscular shoulder.
"No Khushi! Why do you think that?" Arnav asked shocked at the sudden question.
Her hazel orbs looked up. Fear, hurt and insecurity reflecting within them.
"Then why doesn't he call me "maa"? It's been two weeks since we've adopted him and he gets along with everyone except me. Why is that? Am I doing something wrong? Arnavji I really want a mother-son relationship with Aarav. He is my my son. He has accepted you as a father then why can't he accept me as his mother? What am I lacking?"  Khushi voiced out, her eyes moist with tears which were threatening to fall out any second.
"Oh baby!" Arnav exclaimed pulling Khushi into a tight hug.
"Jaan, maybe he needs time. We shouldn't rush him. If you want, I can talk to him. But the best solution would be if we let him come to you. By himself, with his own will. What say? I'm sure that very soon he'll accept you!"
Nodding, Khushi gave her light smile, pulling out of the hug and have Arnav a tight peck on the cheeks.
The two smiled, staring into each other's eyes, not noticing two figures who had heard the whole conversation between the lovey dovey couple...
******************************************
NK was walking along the house, looking for Aarav. As expected, Aarav was in his room, drawing.
Knocking for the sake of courtesy, NK stood by the door and waited for Aarav to turn around. Hearing the sudden knock, Aarav hurriedly slammed his book shut and looked up to see that NK was waiting by the door.
"Hey NK Mamaa! What's up?" Aarav said, trying to calm down his racing heartbeats.
"Hey buddy! Nothing much. I just wanted to talk to you. Are you busy?"
Aarav nodded a "no" and gestured NK to come and sit by him.
"I'm not gonna beat round the bush Aarav. Can I ask you a question? Do you accept everyone in this family as your own?" Aarav immediately nodded his head vigorously.
"Even Khushiji?"
Aarav slightly paled.
So NK Mamaa was here to talk about that?

"Aarav, I had overheard a conversation between Khushiji and Nanav. Khushiji is insecure. She's noticed that you have accepted everyone in the family but she thinks you haven't accepted her. Aarav, she's your mother. She's dying to hear you call her "Maa". What's stopping you from accepting her?" NK asked the miniature kid who was sitting besides him.
"I have accepted her." His feeble voice echoed in NK's ears.
"What? Aarav how have you accepted her when you don't even call her your mother?" To say that NK was confused would be an understatement.
What riddles is this lad speaking? NK thought to himself.
"I've accepted Khushi aunty as my maa but two things are always holding me back from calling her "Maa". Each time I want to go to her and hug her, call her "maa" and express my love to her, those two things always hold me back." Aarav explained his eyes slightly turning moist.
"Which two things Aarav? You know you can trust me. Tell me." NK urged his nephew.
"The guilt and fear."
"Guilt and fear? Of what?" This young boy was surely making NK confused beyond control.
"Guilt because of the amount of times I've hurt and insulted her. When I came with Sheetal, I have always insulted her. I always hurt her no matter what. I always taunted her for no reason. The guilt of hurting her haunts me! I never intended to hurt her but I still did.
The fear is because I don't want to get hurt again. What if she also leaves me like Sheetal? What if she decides that she doesn't want me? Or what if she doesn't want me as her son? I don't want to get close to someone and get hurt!" Aarav cried as NK pulled him onto his lap, slightly hugging him.
NK couldn't believe that Aarav felt like that! Never had he seen someone other than Khushi so pure hearted. It just proved the fact that;
Children were definitely God's most innocent creatures.
Aarav is so mature for his age! Is he really only six years of age? So selfless? Well I guess it is Time to put this lads insecurities to rest! Thought NK.
"She'll forgive you. And she'll NEVER hurt you. I know Khushiji; she's the most down to earth person you'll ever meet. You'll definitely fall in love with her. And she understands your situation perfectly. Khushiji's parents passed away when she was only 8! Since then she's been living with her maternal aunt. She learned to adjust and accepted her aunt and uncle as her parents. Aarav believe me, Khushi really loves you. If she didn't, then there would have been no way that she would have considered to adopt you! Aarav, take my advise and go to her. Tell her how much she means to you! All she wants is you to call her your mother. Shower your love on her champ. Trust me, Khushiji loves you!"
"Really? Even after everything?" Aarav asked still wanting assurance.
"Yes! She's the most clean hearted person you'll ever come across. Just speak from the heart!" NK smiled.
"I've made her this. I also overheard Maa and Dad's talk. I made this for her to express my feelings."
Aarav took out a hand made card which had a picture of Khushi in the middle. Around the picture, it said "I love you Maa" in Aaravs handwriting.
"Go! Go and show her! Go Aarav!" NK urged and Aarav nodded quickly, smiling. He rushed out of the room in order to tell his mother how much he loves her.
Back in the room, NK gave himself a pat on the back. Mission accomplished NK! Well done!
***********************************************
Khushi was in her bedroom watching her favorite tv show when Aarav had barged into the room.
"Aarav? Did you need anything dear?" Khushi asked closing the tv, focusing her attention to Aarav.
"This is for you", he said handing her the card.
Confused at the sudden gesture, Khushi opened the card to read:
"Today is not Mother's Day
Nor is it your birthday
Today is not your anniversary
But this poem is very necessary
You manage different roles, not just a mother
You are a decision maker and a protector
Kudos to you for being so awesome
You are the reason my life blossoms
I love you
I might have always been
Very nonchalant with you
A little too laid-back
And least bothered too
My attitude may have sucked
For I never cared enough
I have given you anxiety
And a time in your life, so tough
But that's just how life's situations
Had made things out to be
Don't let that ever make you think
That you aren't the world's best mommy
I love you
Thank you maa and I'm sorry for hurting you! I really love you!"
By the end, Khushi had tears streaming down her face. Without another word, Khushi was pulled into a hug by Aarav who whispered the four words which Khushi was dying to hear.
"I love you Maa..."
"I love you Maa. I love you so much! I'm so sorry for every bad behavior I kept with you. I'm  sorry. But I truly love you maa! I love you!"
"I love you too Aarav! I love you so much my darling! You have no idea on how desperate I was to hear this from you! Thank you beta! Thank you for fulfilling my wish!"
"No, Thank you Maa! I love you more!"
Pulling back into another hug, the mother and son duo heard another voice behind them.
"Forgotten about me?!"
The turned to look at Arnav who was smiling widely, leaning against the door.
Extending a hand, Khushi gestured Arnav to join to which he gladly agreed.
Finally the mother and son were united and the Raizada family had their own awesome threesome family....

Arshi OS- Justice

Arshi OS- Justice

Justice.
"Justice. What is justice? Is it to take an eye for an eye? Or is it to forget the sin committed and ask the victim to just "move on"? No! Justice is the legal or philosophical theory by which fairness is administered.  Ladies and Gentlemen, My name is Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada, and I am here to talk to you about one of the most unspoken crimes, Rape. Yes, rape.  In particular, Child Rape. A subject which no one raises the voice against. And at the end of my talk with you, I pray to the almighty that we all leave this centre with the thought in mind about how child rape and rape, in general, is wrong."
Taking a deep breath, Khushi turned her gaze to Arnav Singh Raizada, who was watching her from the crowd. He lightly smiled and nodded, silently indicating  Khushi to go on.
"I am a mother. I'm a mother of a cute boy and a beautiful girl. As a mother, I understand the pain which a woman goes through in seeing her own kin, her own child suffering. The slightest cut on my child's hand and I go completely insane! It hurts me more than it hurts any other person- more than it hurts my child! That's a mother's love! You may be wondering where the idea of rape comes in this. Well, allow me to clarify. I would like to request you all to shut your eyes."
Khushi glanced around the hall. Each eye was closed. She took a deep inhalation and recapitulated.
"Imagine you have an adorable little daughter. She's only seven years old."
An automatic smile was plastered on everyone's lips.
"You and your partner have gone to a pilgrimage and have left her at home with your family. You are assured that she is in safe hands. Ok, so you finish your pilgrimage and in the near by shops, you begin to shop gifts for your precious daughter. You can imagine her reaction on seeing the number of gifts you have bought for her. You can hear her angel-like voice confessing how much she loves you and how much she missed you whilst you were away. Whilst shopping, you receive a call from your family back home."
Khushi gasped, mustering the courage to say the next bit of her discourse.
"The phone call informs you how your beloved seven-year-old daughter has been raped and beaten to her death. As if that's not enough, you are further informed how her dead body was found in the trash pile. The ground beneath your world slips and you can barely contain your angst. Immediately, you catch the next flight back home and once you reach, you're greeted with the face of your dead daughter, her body wrapped in white as she lays lifeless in her coffin. Now open your eyes."
Each and every eye in the room was moist with tears of acid threatening to drip for some, and already falling for the others. Khushi felt herself falling weak. She quickly pulled herself together.
"I can see the impact that my words have had upon you. You're all deeply affected by what I have asked you to imagine. Most of you are on the verge of crying whilst the rest are already sobbing. The scene which I have just narrated is indeed a true incident which has just occurred a couple of days back. Some o you might have guessed; I am addressing the young Angel, Zainab Ansari."
"For those of you don't know, Zainab Ansari was a seven-year-old Pakistani girl who was on her way to Quran recital when she was found raped and murdered which incited protests and outrage in Kasur, Punjab, Pakistan. Ansari's parents had gone to Saudi Arabia for performing Umrah and Ansari was living with her aunt. On 4 January 2018, while going to a Quran tuition class which was very close to her house, she went missing. Her uncle, Muhammad Adnan, lodged a complaint with the Kasur District Police Office. CCTV video footage which was discovered by Ansari's family members, with no help from the authorities involved, shows her accompanied by an unknown bearded man in white clothes and a jacket, holding her by the hand and walking on a street in Kasur. Her body was later found in a garbage heap on 9th January 2018. After an autopsy, it was confirmed that she had been raped and strangled to death. The autopsy suggested that she endured captivity and torture before her murder."
"I have a question for all of you. What was Zainab's fault? What sin did she commit that she was punished in this animalistic way? For God's sake! She was a seven-year-old! A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD! A child who had barely lived her life! Can someone please tell me her crime?! Was it that she wanted to learn more about her religion? Or was it because of her walking outside without her father? As a mother, I can't understand how can someone do it to any child! To any being! Is this what our world has come to? Have people become so savage that they can't differ from right and wrong?"
"Ok, let's talk about the justice or a second. What happened to the people who raised their voice against Zainab's killer? The police began shooting at the protesters! And two were unfortunately killed! Is this justice? A moment ago, you all imagined How it must have felt being a parent receiving the death news of their daughter. Now tell me, Is this justice? Zainab's Sinner is out free whilst her family is lamenting over her demise! This isn't just!"
" Zainab was the twelfth girl. Eleven cases of a similar nature were recorded in the same neighbourhood during the past year. Eman Fatma,  Fauzia, Noor Fatma,  Ayesha Asif,  Laiba,  Sana Omar,  and Kainat Batool,  were among the victims and were all under the age of 10! For the first time, a voice has been raised! Don't suppress  the voice. Children are innocent. Dont take their innocence away!"
"I'm going to conclude this now as I have no words to describe my thoughts and feelings. All I would like to say is A woman should not be judged by the clothes she wears. Her clothes do NOT define her character and they definitely do not give anyone a signal to harass, insult and rape her.
A wife is not bound to pleasure her husband. You've gotten married- it does not give you full rights on her! If she says no, it means no. She's your wife not a toy.
No means no. Say NO to Rape. Thank you."
The room burst into fits of applause and whoops of happiness as Khushi wiped a tear falling out. She rushed down the stage and ran into her Arnav's arms and began to weep- overwhelmed.
"Im proud of you my lawyer!" He whispered into her ears as he soundly kissed her.
Khushi buried herself more into Arnav's arms. A few minutes later, Khushi felt a tug on her dress and looking down she saw her two children- Ayyan who was eight years old, and Aashi who was only three years old.
"You were great up there maa!" Ayyan exclaimed as Khushi kissed his and Aashi's cheeks.
"Thank you baccha!"
Khushi picked up Aashi and Arnav did the same to Ayyan. Smiling at one another, the happy family walked out of the hall- glad that they had made a difference....

Arshi OS- Euphoria

"Euphoria
Take my hands now
You are the cause of my euphoria
Euphoria
Close the door now
When I'm with you I'm in utopia"
---*---
What should I do?
What would Maa want me to do?
I turned my gaze to my right side, where my pregnant wife stood; fatigued. On the other hand, on my left, stood my sister, her eyes scarlet from weeping.
"Tell me Chhote!" My sister, Anjali, demanded, her voice raucous from the constant crying.
I turned to scrutinise my wife, Khushi, her eyes supplicating and screaming: "Don't do this to me!"
"Chhote! Answer me! Will you sacrifice your to-be newborn and give him to me?" She asked.
"I want your child Chhote! You know that I can never be a mother again, after everything which has happened, so please let me take your child! I promise to nurture it like my own!" Anjali pleaded.
I could feel Khushi's eyes widening and I could hear the small sounds of sobbing, which were coming out of her petite frame.
"P...Please d...Don't d...Do...this A...Arnavji." Khushi squeaked, faltering her words.
Again, we were back to square one. Anjali or Khushi?
On one hand stood my sister Anjali, who had brought me up after my mother's death. The sister who became my mother. But for the same sister, I had done everything in my power to buy whatever she pleased. The same sister who was pampered by every single person from my family.
Antagonistically, stood my wife, my better half, my soul-mate. The girl who had sacrificed her dreams for my family. The girl who loved and spread happiness wherever she went. The girl who was selfless. The girl who I loved.
Who do I choose?
My pampered, demanding sister or my selfless, giving wife?
"I choose You." I declared. Anjali's eyes lit up as Khushi looked down, clutching her stomach protectively - silently refusing to give away our unborn.
The light from Anjali's eyes instantly began to fade as she saw me turning and giving my hand to Khushi, who gawked at me in surprise.
"I choose you, Khushi."
I read her eyes questioning why I had chosen her. Lightly grabbing her hand I claimed loud and clear ; "You are the cause of my euphoria. I love you and I'm not leaving your hand."
I saw how my family looked proud at my decision I caressed my wife's hand and walked away from my so-called home...

"Agar aap k liye yeh Rishta koi maine nahin rakhta, toh chod di jiye Anjali Ji ko!"
{"If this Relationship does not keep any value for you then leave Anjaliji!"}
"Khushiji aur hum ek dusre se Pyaar kartein hain. Aur hamare Pyaar mein ek hi rukawat hai. RANI SAHIBA!!"
{Khushiji and I love each other. And there's only one thorn in our relationship. RANI SAHIBA!!"}
Speeding up his car, Arnav's mind rushed back to the scene he had just witnessed about an hour back. The love of his life in the embrace of his Brother-in-law. Her words haunted Arnav's ears.
Did she fake her innocence? Had all the time we spent together meant nothing to her? His conscious doubted.
His mind hastened back to the confrontation he had with his swine brother-in-law.
Was everything that Shyam said true? Are they together?
Abruptly stopping the car, Arnav rushed out and screamed in utter agony.
How can she do this? WHY did she do this?!" His heart cried and his eyes filled up with acid.
Ye dil tanha kyun rahe
Kyun hum tukdon mein jiyein
Kyun rooh meri ye sahe
Main adhooraa jee rahaa hoon
Har dam ye keh rahaa hoon
Mujhe teri zaroorat hai
Mujhe teri zaroorat hai..
{Why should this heart remain lonely,
Why should we live in pieces..
Why should my soul bear this..
I've been living alone..
I'm saying this every moment,
that I need you..
That I need you..}
He fell on the road with a thud as his knees felt weak."Why Khushi? Why did you do this? Why damm it??" He cried and leaned onto his car.
Chod dijiye Anjaliji ko!!!!
Khushi's voice was ringing in Arnav"s repeatedly.
How could she do this? How she betray his family? How could she betray him?? Was shyam right?
Arnav looked up at the sky and searched for his mother.
"Why ma? Why did this happened to us? Why does di and me doesn't get any happiness?? Now what should I do??? How will I go and tell di that since all this years, she was living slide full of lies? How will she bear all this???" He closed his eyes in pain but he opened them the next moment as the image of Khushi in Shyam's arms flashed in his mind.
"How could she?? How could she be involved with Shyam? How dare she betray him?? She deserves a punishment for her sin!! She deserves it!!" Arnav's mind shouted.
"No!! It's not true!! All those moments meant something for her as well!! He had seen it in her eyes!! He has sense her loud hearbeats whenever he came near her!! He had seen her shy but contented smile whenever he looked into her eyes!! She is not wrong!! She is so pure and self less! How will she do this? There is something more to this!! Khushi can't be wrong!!" His heart tried to convince him.
"Really?" His mind left out a chuckle, "she is just another gold digger who runs behind money!! She was faking all those love!! If she is not wrong then what about that hug? What about her asking Shyam to leave di?? Don't believe her, Arnav!! Don't do this mistake!!" His mind argued.
"I don't know why all that happened!! All I know is that you love her!!! Without asking a clarification from her, how could you come on any conclusion? Now you will go and punish her...destroy her!! But what will you do if in future you get to know that she was innocent? How will you fix the damage? How will you bring her back? Don't Arnav...don't destroy your love!! How could you even think low of her without listening to her? You instantly went and talked to your filthy brother-in-law despite listening to his cheap confession!! Not only that but you also easily agreed to what he said but you are not willing to talk with Khushi, the one whom you claimed to love!!! Is this your love?" His heart asked sarcastically.
Arnav's mind tried to retaliate but couldn't. Its true!! He never even thought of talking with Khushi.
."How could I not talk with Khushi? How can I just decide everything depending on Shyam's words??" He questioned himself in disbelief.
Was this his love? Was his love this weak that it began to shake due to a third person?
"No no no!! I need to talk with Khushi!! She will have to tell me everything!! She can't be wrong!! She can't betray me!!" He wiped his face with his palms vigorously and got into the car.
"You will have to tell me everything, Khushi!!" He whispered and started the car.
As he drove back to home, all the moments he spent with Khushi flashed into his mind.
Their first meeting...His hatred...Her fear...His insults...Her morals and values...Her innocence which he fell for...Her lost state on Diwali's night when he tried to kiss her...Her devastated face when he announced his engagement...His flirtings with her during the wedding...Her blush...His kiss...Her kiss...
With each and every passing moment, his resolve became stronger. Khushi did have feelings for him and only is the truth!!
Andheron se tha mera rishta bada
Tune hi ujaalon se waakif kiya
Ab lauta main hoon in andheron mein phir
To paaya hai khud ko begaana yahaan
Tanhaayi bhi mujhse khafaa ho gayi
Banjaaron ne bhi thukra diya
Main adhoora jee raha hoon
Khud par hi ik sazaa hoon
Mujhe teri zaroorat hai
Mujhe teri zaroorat hai
{With darkness there was a close relationship of mine.
You're the one who made me know lights..
Now that I've come back to these darknesses,
I've found myself lonely here..
Even loneliness is angry with me now..
Even the homeless pushed me away
[as in, even the homeless don't let me stay with them, I don't even have a home with the homeless.]
I am living incomplete,
I am a punishment for myself.
I need you..
I need you...}
Screeching to a halt, Arnav ran inside the wedding house and impatiently searched for her. Finally, his gaze landed on her, carting a basket full of flowers, her eyes and nose red.
Without another seconds delay, Arnav rushed towards her, his face shone anger. Grabbing her arm he dragged Khushi with him to his bedroom. Once there, He securely locked the door and looked at her confused, hurt, scared and crying face.
"Arnavji...?!" She whispered making Arnav's heart clench with the intensity of hurt which her voice showed.
"Tell me the truth. Why and how do you know Shyam? Are you involved with him? What relationship do you share?" He bluntly asked- his voice gruff.
Before Khushi could even reply and come out of shock from the sudden question, Arnav's voice echoed again in her ears.
"Don't you dare lie. I want the complete truth. From the beginning." Arnav commanded. Knowing there was no running from the truth, Khushi began to tell Arnav everything. From beginning to end.
As Arnav intently listened, each and every thing that Khushi said began to make sense.
Shyam's constant "clients"
Khushi's fiancé named "Shyam"
Khushi's heartbroken condition finding about Shyams betrayal.
Everything made sense.
Arnav understood that what Shyam had told him was utter bullshit and that it was a plan to distance himself from Khushi.
When Khushi finished telling Arnav, tears were running down her face.
"I promise Arnavji! I never intended to hurt you or Anjaliji. I never wanted to break her marriage but she doesn't deserve a cheater like Shyam! Please trust me!" She wept.
"Ok." His reply was monosyllabic. Khushi looked up shocked, unable to comprehend what he just said.
"J...Ji?"
"Ok. Go downstairs. The wedding is going to start." Arnav's voice was rough.
Defeated, Khushi rushed downstairs, hot tears fell from her cheeks which she stumblingly wiped from the back of her hand.
Inside the room, Arnav made a decision. The decision which will decide the future of both Arnav and Khushi....
Tere jism ki wo khushbuyein
Ab bhi in saanson mein zinda hai
Mujhe ho rahi in se ghutan
Mere gale ka ye phanda hai
{Those fragrances of your body
are still alive in these breaths..
I'm feeling choked due to them,
They are the noose around my neck.}
The wedding was a blast. Everyone enjoyed. Khushi, who smiled through her pain, teased her Jiji and Jijaji a lot. When it was time for Payal to leave, The waterworks broke. Khushi, who had always had her Payal Jiji by her side, wouldn't let go of her. She took an oath from Akash to always keep her happy to which he happily accepted.
The Guptas retired to their own house after the wedding. Khushi rushed to her room and locked it. Taking off her dupatta she kneeled down beside her bed and began to cry.
She cried for the departing of her sister.
She cried for the betrayal she and Anjali had to face.
But most of all, she cried for the fact that her love didn't trust her (or so she thought).
Khushi was so engrossed in her sorrows she didn't notice a lone figure entering in through her window. She didn't even notice when the figure came a stood in front of her.
"Why didn't Arnavji believe me? why does he find me so cheap! He didn't even give a proper reply when I told him the truth!" Khushi whispered to herself.
Dhak-Dhak! Dhak-Dhak!
"Arnavji...?!" She spoke aloud standing up, only to bump into the figure who held her by her waist.
"Careful!"
Khushi's eyes widened as she figured out who the voice belonged to.
Arnav.
"Y...You..?!" She asked, stuttering. Without replying, Arnav led Khushi to sit down on her bed whilst he sat down beside her.
teri choodiyon ki wo khanak
Yaadon ke kamre mein goonje hai
Sun kar ise aata hai yaad
Haathon mein mere zanjeerein hain
Tu hi aa ke in ko nikaal zaraa
Kar mujhe yahaan se rihaa

{that clinking of your bangles,
echoes in the room of memories..
hearing this I am reminded
that there are chains around my hands..
you only come and remove them..
free me from here..}
" Khushi. I don't know how to say my feelings out loud but today I'll give it a go. When I saw you in Shyam's embrace today, I thought my whole came crashing down.
Khushi, Whenever I said or done wrong with you, I never meant it. The truth is, behind the act of hate I fell in love with you. You made that 14-year-old Arnav become alive again. You made me laugh, You made me feel. And I hated the fact that you broke the barrier which was surrounding my heart."
Bowing down on one knee, Arnav took her hands in his.
"Khushi I love you damn it! I love you! I want you to stay with me throughout my life; through thick and thin. I want you as my wife, As the mother of my children. Khushi if I should live my life if it should be with you. So, Khushi Kumari Gupta, Will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" Arnav held out a ring and Khushi couldn't stop her tears from falling.
Nodding her head rigorously, Khushi showed her approval and Arnav slid the ring onto her finger, pulling her into a hug.
  Main adhoora jee raha hoon
Ye sadaayein de rahaa hoon
Mujhe teri zaroorat hai
Mujhe teri zaroorat hai
{I am living incomplete..
I am calling you..
I need you,
I need you.}
"I Love you Arnavji...." Khushi whispered in his ears causing him to smile. Hugging each other close the couple celebrated their newly confessed love throughout the starry night....
The end!

"Dus saal beet gaye Hume miley hue. Ab aa jaa vapis. Aapni yeh narazgi chod do. Teri yaad satati hai. Wapis aao. Hai Teri yeh aashiq ki pukaar! Wapis aa jaao Khushi!"
{"It's been ten years since we last met. Now please come back. Leave your anger. Your memories torment me. Come back. This is your lover's call. Come back Khushi!"}
Slamming the black diary shut he got up and placed it back safe in his cupboard. Getting dressed, he gazed at his reflection.
"Arnav Singh Raizada!"
He muttered looking at his reflection. Today, he had everything a man could ever want: A successful career as a business man, Lands and properties worth lakhs, corers even but their was always a lack.
The lack of his best friend.
The lack of his first and last Love.
The lack of Khushi Kumari Gupta.
He walked out of his house and drove towards his company: AR Designs.
Once inside the cabin, Arnav sat on his chair and closed his eyes, driving back to his childhood days.
Flashback...
Arnav and Khushi were best friends since they were babies. To say they were dipper buddies would be the perfect way to put it.
Arnav was just two years old when his Garima Maa brought Khushi home. At first he was jealous of her, all the attention of his maa, papa, Garima Maa and Shashi papa was on the little princess. He seriously hated all the attention the miniature girl managed to gain without a single effort. But slowly over time, the jealousy was replaced with utter possession.
Little Arnav was obsessed with his little Pari, Khushi, and he would NEVER allow anyone to hurt, scold or even touch her. At school, during lunch breaks, Arnav would find Khushi and bring her to the spot. He fed her, joked around with her and then helped her understand the work that she had written in her book.
The duo were inseparable to part.
Over the corse of the years, Arnav began to fall for his innocent Khushi who was completely oblivious...
Flashback end...
Arnav jolted out of his thoughts, hearing the sudden knock on his cabin door.
"Come in!"
The door opened and there stood his PA Aman Mathur, shivering in fear.
"A...ASR...? I.... Ummmm..." He stuttered, triggering Arnav's anger.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SAY AMAN?! YOU KNOW I HATE PEOPLE WHO STUTTER! GET TO THE POINT!" Arnav bellowed, causing Aman to shudder  back in fright.
"ASR someone is here to meet you. She hasn't got an appointment but she's stating its urgent. She claims to know you. She's not saying her name and that she'll only go after you talk to her." Aman stated quickly.
Arnav got up and looked down from the one sided glass. There stood a petite girl dressed in a magenta Anarkali. Her eyes and nose were slightly red due to her cries. At that moment, Arnav felt his heart beating rapidly in his ribcage making him feel angry.
What the hell! Why am I feeling like that?! I love my Pari! My Khushi!! Why am I feeling like that for that girl outside?! Arnav internally screamed. Unable to control himself, he turned his back towards the glass and summoned Aman.
"Take her name down. Force her to tell you if necessary. Ask the guards to throw her out. I'm not meeting her. And I want a full report about that girl within an hour. Your job is on the line!" Arnav growled ruthlessly. Nodding, Aman immediately left not wanting to annoy his boss more.
When Aman left, Arnav turned back to look at the girl. He saw Aman writing her name down and could hear her cries faintly as the guards took her out. Arnav's heart clenched at the sight but then immense rage fell on him.
Who the hell is she?! She must be another gold digger! I love only Khushi and my heart only beats for her! I love her! No one can take her place! Arnav thought and sat down on his chair with a thud. His mind drifted back to the day he committed the biggest crime making him lose her...
Flashback...
Khushi was now 14 and Arnav had recently just turned 16.
One fateful day, Khushi got the news about the death of her parents. Ironically, that day Arnav was to leave for America for his higher studies. Arnav received the call from his father stating about the death of his Garima Maa and Shashi Papa. Although Arnav was devastated, he went towards the airport with a stone on his heart. He knew his Pari would be absolutely broken but he was bounded by the oath his Garima maa gave him.
"Remember Arnav. No matter what happens you will go to America for your higher studies. Tujhe meri kasam! {You have my oath}"
Garima's voice haunted as he boarded the plane. That day Arnav realised that maybe Garima knew that she may not live long....
The aftermath of his decision was terrible. When He returned back His maa stopped talking to him, his father stayed annoyed with him and Khushi? His Pari had vanished. Vanished in thin air. He begged his mother to tell him about her surroundings but Ratna stayed mum. Not a single syllable came out to tell him.
Why would she? You left her alone in the time of need! Why would she stay in contact? Arnav's heart mocked and tears of acid ran down his face.
That day Arnav realised that he was selfish. Selfish for his own needs....
Flashback ends....
Arnav snapped open his blood shot eyes. Two tears ran down his face.
"Wapis aa jaao jaan! Apne Arnav ka haal dekh lo. Wapis aao na!"
{"Come back to me my Love! Look at the state of your Arnav. Come back na!"} Arnav whispered to the air.
That very moment,Aman knocked bringing in the report of the anonymous girl.
Signing off Aman with another load of work, Arnav opened the file but the content left him flabbergasted.
" Name: Khushi Kumari Gupta.
Age: 24
Occupation: Asha Orphanage CEO. Teacher.
Family: Garima Gupta- Mother-{Deceased}
Shashi Gupta- Father-
{Deceased}.
Address: XYZ Street. 21 Kishore apartments, Dehli.
Ms Gupta is the founder and CEO of Asha Orphanage. She's also a teacher there. She had no family and claims that she knows The ASR. She's had no past flings and has a very good image. Financially she is also very stable."
Slamming the file shut, Arnav got up wiped his hand on his sweaty face.
Shit! What have I done?! She came to meet me and I...?! Damnit! I need to sort this out! There's no way I'm letting her go this time! I'm coming Khushi! Determined, Atnav rushed out of his cabin and ran towards his car, shocking his employees.
Arnav couldn't care less. All that mattered was Khushi. His Khushi. His happiness. His Pari!
Driving towards her address, the smile from Arnav lips didn't fade, in fact it grew. Arnav felt so close to his goal. His goal to find his Khushi. The goal to get his love back.
Finally reaching the address, Arnav ran up the staircase to number 21.
Rigorously ringing the bell, Arnav showed his excitement.
Finally, the door opened but the sight in front of him was like acid being pored into his heart. There stood the girl who he had thrown out this morning. The girl who had turned out to be his Pari. His Khushi.
Khushi's eyes were sore from the constant crying. After ten years, Khushi had gathered courage and came to see her Arnav who she fell for even after the sin he commited.  She had thought to talk it out with him and confess her feelings. She had thought to forgive him. But instead she was insulted again.
Ten years back he had left her alone. Some bullies mocked her as her Arnav left her when she needed him most. Now ten years later she felt insulted again.
Without a seconds  delay Arnav came inside and pulled Khushi into a tight hug. When Khushi tried to retaliate, Arnav only pulled her closer (if it was possible) , nuzzling into her neck.
"Khushi!" His voice shone with happiness and Khushi fell weak. She reciprocated the hug, causing Arnav to smile.
Typical Khushi! He thought.
Breaking off, Arnav wrapped one of his arms round her waist whilst one hand cupped her cheek.
"Where were you hiding? How could you give me such a big punishment? I searched for you like crazy. I missed you damn it! You... You just left! You didn't even give me a chance to apologise or explain. Khushi I'm so sorry for abandoning you in the most critical condition but I was helpless." Arnav scolded and apologised at the same time.
All through that time Khushi stood still and gazed into Arnav's molten chocolate eyes.
He's grown into his looks. Just like my Arnav. Khushi thought.
"Why should I come back Arnavji? I thought to forgive you but today I was humiliated in front of everyone in your office. You... You abandoned me. You're not the Arnav I knew. You left me there with mumma and baba's corpses. I cried for you but you never came! People taunted me! I wished I had di-" Khushi's voice cracked as she sobbed.
Before she could complete her sentence she felt cold, hard dominating lips on hers. Her eyes widened in surprise but shut instantly. Arnav's hand cupped her nape whilst his other hand wrapped around her waist. Khushi didn't reciprocate but melted into him, letting him handle her the way he wants.
Arnav in the hand, bit hard, punishing Khushi by kissing her. Punishing her for thinking about death. For talking about death.
How dare she think about leaving me? I just got her back! I'm not letting her go. Now now not ever!! Arnav thought as her devoured her lips.
Finally, after minutes of passionately kissing Khushi, Arnav broke the kiss and gazed at Khushi's red face.
"Khushi! Don't you ever dare to think about death. I haven't got you back to let you go! You are mine! JUST MINE!" Arnav growled in possessiveness.
Just then,Realisation dawned upon him.
They'd just shared a kiss.
Their first kiss.
The kiss that she'll remember her whole life.
"Hell Khushi! I want to kill you and then kill myself! We've ruined our first kiss!" Arnav scolded and Khushi couldn't help but chuckle mutely at the sight.
"Why does it effect you?" Khushi whispered to him.
"Huh...?" Arnav asked confused.
"Why does it matter? Why do you care if I live or die? You left me alone when I was just 14! You were selfish enough to leave me alone for your own sake! Why do you suddenly care?!" Khushi screamed.
"I'm so sorry! I wanted to come but Garima maa gave me an oath to go to America and persist in my study. When I came back you had left. Maa and papa haven't talked properly with me since you left! Khushi I am sorry. I'm sorry for humiliating you today! I'm sorry! Please forgive me. I beg you!"
Looking at the sincerity in his eyes and voice, Khushi looked away debating.
"Khushi I love you!" He whispered to which Khushi instantly looked up.
"I love you. I've always loved you. I wasn't living when you weren't there. Khushi forgive me. I promise I won't ever hurt you again. Please! I really truly love you!" Arnav confessed- his eyes moist.
Not hearing a reply from her, Arnav panicked.
Why isn't she replying? Does she not love me? His heart asked scared.
Why would she? You left her alone in the time of  need. Arnav's mind mocked back.
The next actions of Khushi lead Arnav stupefied.
Khushi tiptoed and pressed her lips lightly on Arnav's cheek.
"I love you too Arnavji...!" She whispered in his ear, causing him to give out a full blown smile.
"Really?! Even after everything?!" He asked utterly surprised.
Was this real?!
"Yes. I came to meet you today because I couldn't live without you anymore. I wanted to forgive and forget. I want you back Arnavji. I want my best friend back. I've always loved you even after everything. Sometimes that used to make me angry as you had left but I couldn't help it. I truly love you!" Finishing her confession, Khushi was in Arnav's arms in the next second.
She felt her shoulder get wet and instantly understood what was the reason.
Arnav's tears.
"I can't believe how lucky I am! I've got you back! Khushi I promise to put the world at your feet! I'll never leave you alone! I love you damnit!" He sobbed and Khushi just pulled him closer, comforting him.
"Shhhh it's ok. It's just you and me. I'm yours." Khushi soothed.
Finally Sealing the deal with a kiss Arnav brought Khushi back to his home where everything began to fall into place....
The end!
